5. Program of discipline

Description of academic discipline, its goals, subject of study and learning outcomes

Discipline «Production Engineering» aims at studying the general principles of the content and stages of technological preparation of production, which assures the quality design and manufacture of the product.

Technological preparation of production and its role in machine-building production.
Ensuring technological design of the product. Work out the design of the product for the technological.
Work out the design of the product for the purpose of identifying the necessary equipment, technological equipment, cutting tool and control means.

Procedure for the compilation, approval and modification of information on technological routes.
Rules for drawing up, approving and updating information of technological routes.

6. Policies and assessment process of the academic discipline

Assessment methods and rating system of learning results assessment

In recent years, teachers of the department pay considerable attention to the organization
independent work of students, development of criteria for assessing students' knowledge of
disciplines, forms of tests, exams.
According to the system of complex diagnostics operating at the university
students' knowledge in order to stimulate systematic and systematic
educational work, assessment of students' knowledge is carried out on a 100-point scale
Forms of control of students' knowledge:
- current;
- modular;
- final (test, exam).
Assessment of students' knowledge at the university is carried out for 100-
point scale.
