5. Program of discipline
Description of academic discipline, its goals, subject of study and learning outcomes
Purpose of the “Investment management” is forming the system of special knowledge in the field of investment activity management of enterprises, corresponding competences based on mastering the main theoretical positions and the necessary practical skills that allow implementing the processes of investment management effectively.
Tasks:
know and apply principles and methods of staff activity organization, a skill of responsibilities effective distribution and delegating in the organization administration structure;
state and initiate new ideas, their goals and tasks, calculate the necessary volume of resources;
use knowledge of management for performing some functions in relating spheres, communicate with experts from other branches, organize inter-discipline teamwork;
according to analytical activity, results determine the business development strategy, choose the most effective resources to use strategy taking into account the acceptable risks level;
provide innovations monitoring, calculate projects efficiency, make an economic estimation of innovations, need in innovative investments, take measures on economically substantiated innovations implementation.

Economic theory, economics and enterprise finance, management, accounting and auditing, law, strategic management, innovation management, finance, money and credit, business analysis, exchange activities, economic forecasting, management decision-making methods, international management, entrepreneurship, strategic analysis.

Theoretical principles of investment activity. The role of production and economic entities in the formation of the investment process. Investment market. Financial investments. Analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of financial investments. Investment risk management. Innovations as an object of investment activity. Estimation of the value of securities of the enterprise. Formation of an investment strategy for enterprise management. Investment project. Management of investment projects.
Practical classes (topics)
Production-economic associations and their role in the implementation of the investment process. Investment climate and its components. Characteristics of the investment climate in Ukraine. Participants in the securities market and their functions. Ways to reduce risk. Financial support for innovation activity. State regulation of innovation activity in Ukraine. Determination of branch direction of investment activity. Pricing in the investment sphere. Monitoring of investment processes. Methods of determining the value of the real estate and the peculiarities of their application when making an investment decision.

Assessment methods and rating system of learning results assessment
The components of the assessment process are student activity in practical classes during the semester, the results of tests on topics and final modules, the results of independent work (writing an essay or preparing a presentation), as well as success in the exam.
